Synopsis: Joe Vallone is an ordinary car mechanic who loves nothing more than fixing cars and loud music. There's just one tiny problem...he can't get hurt. Ever. With a condition like hemophilia, one cut or scratch while he's alone on a job could cost Joe his life. So when an explosive car accident nearly leaves him for dead, Joe can't explain why he's still alive...or why he can suddenly run faster than any human being on earth. Joe quickly discovers that his aunt saved his life by secretly injecting him with restricted nanites. Nanites that the government claims don't even exist. There's just one problem. When the people trying to control nanotechnology - including the U.S. military - discover Joe's superhuman secret, they will stop at nothing to get him. Thrust into a world of treason, deception, and lies, Joe will need to use every resource available to him - including his newly found powers - if he wants to escape with his life.

No biggie. I won't deny that some of the background stories of the characters were being built as I progressed through the book. I most definitely have learned that I need to do more prep on characters (bios, back-stories) privately before I set a finger to a key. Especially with a brand new universe. I did do some invisible story-writing/timeline work/brainstorming before the story started and people like that part of the book the best.

Thanks for the review! :)

I wanted to apologize for a mistake I made in my review of your book. I said that you had not explained who Lucy was, and that was in error. I checked back again, and saw that you did, indeed, explain who she was.
I'm sorry I didn't catch it. Please accept my apology for that misstatement.
