Writer: Richard Reay

Cast: Peter Lee Wilson, Jamie Wilson, Leslie Simpson, Peter Michael McGowan
Production Notes: This film was made on Location in Newcastle upon
Tyne for a budget of $7.5k. Shot entirely on MiniDV
and edited using Final Cut Pro it is my first
professional film which netted me a job directing
another short project with the UK Film Council. The
official website for this film is on
www.ultrasonikpictures.com/roulette
Sadly it has been brought to my attention that there
is a problem with sound (on the dial-up version)
this is down tthe compression not being able to
handle the audio range in the final mixdown. If you
can, watch the hi-speed version as the sound is
better. Also due to the compression necessary to upload on the site there is a slight flicker every few seconds, this is simply the codec keyframing, try not to let it spoil your enjoyment of the film.
Brief Bio: Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England in 1977 Richard Reay began writing and directing in 1996 while working as a professional actor in his home town before moving to London to continue his own studies. After attending the renowned Central School of Speech and Drama he toured, as an actor,...
